I think a 315 is the Biggest it could be. The trucks with the Chrysler pattern hemi's didn't have anything painted, or lettered on the valve covers that I am aware of. It is likely a 241, or a 270, as they had the embossed and painted "Red Ram" on the covers. Any of the later "tall deck" Dodge pattern truck Hemi's I have seen have worn flat valve covers, with the name on a decal. If possible, get the engine code that is stamped on the top of the block just in front of the valley cover, and that will tell all. I have one old truck hemi that has a P29 engine code; it must have been a rebuild, as that is definately not the original block for a truck, let alone a hemi. J.V.L.
