Paul, I actually think that if you are talking purely station wagons that the 1920 Dodge Screenside is the first example of a wagon type Dodge bodied truck/car. It evolved into the Merchants Express, which evolved into the Commercial Panel, and Commercial sedan. You can see the body lines of your Carryall evolving in both versions of these trucks. As for station wagons, the Dodge and Plymouth wooden bodied Westchester Suburban, most certainly evolved into the car line wagon.
GEE!, I wonder where gm got the name Suburban from??? ha!ha!
(The 1936 to 1938 Commercial Panels definitely morphed into your Carryall, the side body styling is nearly identical)
