Martin is traveling around as we speak, changing out and repairing front end gaskets and seals, for free, what a guy!
Actually the Dodge Service/Technical Manual for the later years says to use 140wt as quoted verbatim in the last forum, that means if your front end doesn't hold the 140, it is time to repair it.
Just like if your oil pan doesn't hold 30wt, it is time to repair the gasket. STP is not a substitute for engine maintenance. = ) That being said I don't know if the pre '66 trucks have seals that will hold 140wt, but do know that a lot of grease is put in these trucks simply because of that top grease fitting, whether rightly or wrongly, Dodge NEVER intended bearing grease to be installed there, only lithium or 140wt.
