Front knuckle grease for my 51 B-3

This is quoted from my Dodge Trucks "L" Series Shop Manual. It's the only knuckle filling instructions that I can find anywhere in my manuals.

Front Axle Universal Joint and Steering Knuckle (Model W300 and W300M)

Every 1,000 miles remove level plug in the bottom half of of joint and apply short fibre wheel bearing grease through grease nipple at top of knuckle until lubricant appears at level plug hole..

I just couldn't see trying to get 140 axle grease to stay in there or even getting it in there..
