We used to put L60-15s on our CJ5s for the same purpose (riding the tracks - not carrying ammunition). People had the wierdest expression on their face when they saw us cruise by in front of them. Air down from 34lbs to about 20-25, jump up on the rails and man what a smooth ride (Look Ma... no hands). Pretty scarry crossing the trestles (lots of streams), but what a thrill when you finally heard the train whistles blow while blasting Deep Purple (Thankfull you weren't on a bridge)! They were almost all slowww moving freight trains.
