I use Fedex AIR almost daily. Never had a problem.
My complaint with FedEx GROUND is that:
1) *their* guy put the label on
2) unfriendly, unhelpful tracking / claims
They tell me that they lose labels on a lot of tires. I can see that. They say all the tires are automatically routed to a SLC holding facility. Sounds good. So how do you *lose* a 50# 900x16 tire? I sent photos, offered a reward. Nada.
Then to get insulted by their system.
Bahhhhhh.
