I haven't yet but I've bought some fluid from John Deere called Multi-Luber that I'm going to try next time I have one apart.
It's very thick & I just can't imagine it leaking out.
I think STP would be a good choice as well.
Look again in the WDX operators manual...if that's a grease gun they're using to fill up those knuckles, I'll eat my hat!
It just makes zero sense to put the Level plug 1/3 of the way from the bottom when they intend for you to fill the knuckle to the top...which is what inevitably happens if you use multi purpose grease or wheel bearing grease...it's just too thick & not intended for that purpose.
