I am the happy owner of an unrestored Dodge Power Wagon W300M from the danish army. The original engine is stuck, but possible to save. Instead of rebuilding the original gasoline engine, am I thinking about replacing it with a diesel engine. Who can help me ? All I know is that Dodge have buildt some models with diesels from Perkins, Detroit and Cummins. But who can tell me something about the engine models, their serial numbers and the engine data. Besides the info about the engines , I am also in need of information on the engine mountings for each diesel and som good advises of what to look for and beware of before going to work on the project.
