I think it's a 301 according to the block casting numbers but the bore doesn't make any sense. It's like it's been bored 5/16" over!!
That goes for all the other Poly engines too...none have a bore this big, but if it was altered, it was done in the 50's because it hadn't been apart in many many years, that's for sure.
