Forgot to mention that you need to use the water pump that matches the front pulley / timing chain cover. i.e. 230 pump, pulley, timing chain cover and alternator or 251 pump, pulley, timing chain cover and alternator. That way all the pulleys line up. you'll also need to either re-align the exhaust system or use a different down pipe since the manifold are different. i'm sure there's something else I'm forgetting, but it's still simple. Even for someone like me who's not really a mechanic.
