Brian: Our 1948 FFB-1-PW was built on December 29, 1947 and its Serial #83907191 and Engine #T137-8521, built in Detroit. You should contact the Chrystler museum and pay the $25 for the build record. I just received mine last week. In fact, even though I am from California (East Bay), I am in Detroit starting tomorrow and am touring the factory on Saturday.

Your engine was built before mine. Could you be reading the number wrong? Mine was very faint. Your serial number is way after mine too.
