Need to know what gauge steel the dash and bed are made from on a 1951 M37. They are the same right?
I have some holes to fill and want to know what to buy.
Same truck (51 M37). At one point this truck had a custom sheet metal roof on it. The roof was pop riveted to the "C" channel at the top of the windshield (this is the same channel that the canvas top uses to attach to the windshield). I've drilled out the rivets but the holes have left burrs on the inside of the channel. I'm afraid these burrs will tear up the canvas.
I've tried coming in on an angle with a small drill bit. This is working to some degree, but it isn't perfect. any ideas?
