The previous owner of my PW used weather stripping with an adhesive side, instead of replacing with original hood lace. I have the new hood lace and am wondering what type of solvent can I use to remove the glue from the weather strip without hurting the paint. I was a little successful with stright gas, but it is a lot of work and I am not sure it is really taking it off that well. Any suggestions?
