Think the Landrover welded tab Idea is good, or if you fabricated a hose clamp around the spout, attached to a hasp that rotated over the top and secured back with a padlock, they would at least need a screw driver or wrench to disassemble it.
Of course I like the idea of a .50 cal on the truck. If not, maybe one of those sound alarm systems that goes off, stating "Warning your too close, You are about to be shot!"
Careful welding around the OPEN/CLOSED Fuel spout, it kind of makes the fuel loss pointless if the truck is blown up.
Hey, just stencil DIESEL on the cap. Just don't let a friend borrow it and fill it up for you.
