Take the big nut off, pull the u-joint flange off, replace the seal, put the flange back on then the nut. Torque it to about 125 foot pounds. This is not the "right" way but it has worked for me more times than I can remeber. The right way involves pulling the differential out, pulling the pinion out replacing the crush sleeve, then tightening the pinion nut till you have a certain amount of turning resistance of the pinion. Kinda a pain and in my experience a waste of time unless your pulling the diff apart for something else.
