I am adding a transmission oil cooler and have heard two conflisting opinions. One said, run it in series with the existing radiator cooler, and get the benefits of both coolers. The other guy said bypass the radiator because why run the transmission oil through the hot radiator? The first opinion seems more logical to me, I cant believe the radiator is going to heat the oil if it is a "cooler"! My inclination is to tap into the outlet of the radiator cooler and run that to the new cooler and then back to the transmission.
Oh well you know what they say about opinions. I better stop there, I am interested in yours. (your opinion, that is!)
