They would have been to deep and thick anyway being a 12 inch deep frame. I used them to make my drop down DOT bumper mounts in the rear. He could cut that frame in haft weld a section the correct length in between the outside cuts then take a section long enough to go past each weld about a foot if there is roon and bolt it together with frame bolts to the sections and weld it to the inside recessed ends. On my PW the wheel base was not changed at all just 11 inches of the tail on the rear of the frame was removed then the cross member moved ahead in the frame and re/bolted in. I saved the ends for the new owner. So it is a shorter PW but not in the wheel base. Mark H.
