Embarrassment in a Power Wagon

Today my friend graciously towed me home with his F$#D Bronco. The bigger kind. My '53 B3 quit last night on the way home from work at 8:30. I monkeyed with it for awhile, then walked home a few miles. At least it wasn't raining. Today I fooled around some more after my wife dropped me off with a bike. I rode the bike to work today, then my buddy helped me get the beast home at lunch time. It seems to have no spark. The battery is fine, turns over the engine. I thought it might be the breaker stuck open, since it died right after I turned on the amber driving lights. Maybe there's a short there, but even wiring around the breaker up under the dash didn't do anything. The coil, condenser, points, etc. are all new. I'll check the points for a loose hold down screw, and the coil supply wire for 6V.
Any other ideas?
