American companies have many, many levels of regulation, union workers, and heavy taxes. The foreign companies coming here are not unionized, have received sweetheart deals from the government to lower their taxes and regulations and pay less in wages. Yes, it is very irritating that foreign companies can come here and make a profit when American companies have been forced by the anti-business climate to leave. I'm not defending some of these companies, they would sell mom for a buck, but we have to realize that creeping socialism is the main cause of this problem that we all face. Life as we know it is changing, unionized work forces had better be prepared to modernize and increase productivity or they will perish! In a global economy you cannot expect to get paid $30 an hour to produce the same 3 widgits that you produced for $15 an hour ten years ago. My costs per worker are around $60 per hour, but that worker only sees $25 an hour on their check, the rest goes to taxes, insurance, workers compensation etc, etc. We are being run out of business by a government that thinks it can tax and spend forever, it won't work folks! We cannot stay in business while complying with all of these regulations, produce a good American built product for $100, when you guys go out and buy the Chinese $75 product because it is cheaper!!! Support your own economy because it is rapidly disappearing, just look at Ray and Dave as two prime examples. Support them or lose them! The job you save, will be your own.
