they will only "go low on pressure" if you get a puncture or you do not check them (and air as required to set the correct pressure) on a monthly basis (standard interval for tube type tyres)
DO NOT attempt to re-inflate if they are completely flat
always use a long hose with clip chuck
check the valve stem (with a little spittle) for any leakage (little bubble) before securing the valve cap (use metal valve cap)
very few places left that know how to service the 2 piece (2 half) firestone wheels as they
do not have a lock ring
what size & ply rate (load range) tires are you using
