That "guy" was Jock MacLean. His hub blew while he was attempting to pull John Eickhof out of the mud pit. It really let go with a bang. Fortunately, Steve Fowler had a few on hand and upgraded Jock's hubs to Selectros. But, yeah, couldn't do anything without the allen wrench.
