Look at the amount of work involved here! Besides the obvious 'getting caught' factor, the amount of time you'd have to spend e-mailing, contacting the few saps out there that start to fall for your scam, e-mailing again and again, getting bank checks and following through with some of the contacts, it's incredible!! I worked one 'Check-Kiting' scam (this is more involved that just 'floating a check' until payday) it took over a year to collect all the evidence, the guy was so glad to finally get caught!! He said, "Man. Now I can stop this." It literally wore him out trying to keep the scam alive!!!
