My 57 did not have one of the leather covers over the center hump when I got it. When I started investigating putting one on, I realised there were no holes indicating it had never had one. Steve at VPW said that at some point, he wasnt sure when, they used a one piece rubber mat, which was the 2 floors and the hump with the slots for all the levers. Anyone ever seen that? I went ahead and put on the leather one because my wife didnt think you should be able to see the ground thru the floor. Even so, she still wont ride in it. On a different note, Why is it with newer cars, if you have a tiny rust hole you cant get it inspected because you will die from CO poisoning, but nobody thinks twice about inspecting a Power Wagon with about 1/2 a square foot open on the floor?
