When I got my M37 I towed it 40 miles behind my 1/2 ton chevy with a tow bar. I removed both drivelines. The tires were very low on air but had enough not to be setting on the rims. I went slow but it tracked fine. Later I tried to tow it with the same setup, but with 50 lbs air in the tires and both drivelines connect and it wouldn't track at all. The front tires would just go the opposite direction I was trying to turn and would push the chevy sideways. I had the tranny and T-case in neutral. I don't know whether it was the extra soft tires or the lack of drivelines that made it easier to tow the first time. I haven't tried to tow it since. Next time I tow it I'll use the deuce, but with that setup I could pull the M37 down the road sideways and not notice it.
