I second the get more space now while you are doing it. It would seem to be much more useful if the barn was a 4 -6 ft wider. We built a pole barn for our cows and tryed to save money be putting our alley scraper cables and pullies outside. BIG MISTAKE. alittle more then (4 ft on a 240 ft barn) would have saved many headaches down the road. Think longterm not shortterm if you can afford to. jeff
