A neighbour in town has an original chevy/gmc "Camper Special" that has a 9ft factory box. There is a short panel, about a foot long that the factory added in front of the regular 8ft box side. The seam is not blended in at all, but looks like both panels roll inward, and are bolted together through the flange. It is a 3/4 ton of the older 67-72 pattern, with a wooden floor. I don't know if these were made in the states, or maybe just here in Canada. J.V.L.
