I have been looking over the numbers I have for WDX-WM300 style P-Ws(that good enough Clint? :-)), and I was wondering if there is any better info on model year breakdowns then is on this site here:

http://www.dodgepowerwagon.com/main/model.htm

For instance I was looking at the numbers from 1952-53:

CA production is:
Starting serial number 88766901
Ending serial number 88767500

I found this truck 88766982 which is number 82 produced in the 1952-53 serial number breakdown from CA.

Now I would be willing to bet that #82 was made in 1952, but at what point would one start calling the trucks 53s?

The same question holds true for other 2 year serial number listings.

I know Phil is going through this same thing with 55-56 trucks, but I thought that maybe someone had already done more research on some of the model years.

Thanks for any info you can provide!

Eric
