Cummins TD in a W300?

I am considering the installation of a Cummins TD in my '68 W300, and upgrading the transmission to a 5 or 6 speed. Has anyone done this? Any input or suggestions? I think this would be a more practical vehicle for me, since the truck is already very nice and my '49 PW project represents a lot more work than I want. Thanks, Jerry Henry
