Thanks, it looks like I should move the truck back about a foot. That will allow for some storage in front of the truck.
Yea, a Gooseneck does allow more load to be transferred to the truck and makes the towing much smother, but I use the truck bed (hard Tonneau Cover) as the "trunk" when the family takes a trip (Maw, Paw and 4 girls). If I only had one of those stretch trucks with 6 doors, then a gooseneck would be the ticket.
