Sadly, it's a little more difficult getting my daughter (12) to help in the shop nowadays than when she was 4. She still does, but I might have to break down and allow insipid pop songs to play on the shop radio when she's helping...something I hesitate to do because it will complete her musical (if in fact that's the correct term) conquest of every radio on the premises. And this girl has grown up listening to the best of soul, jazz, and the blues, not to mention bluegrass.
It's ghastly stuff this whiny new cutsey pop crap, sounds like passionate soda-pop advertisements for pre-teens...Shudder...
