I have had the same type of similar experience at the chain type of auto parts stores myself. The people with the parts computers is what we are ending up with as the real parts counter help and their catalogs are being phased out. Some day we will not be able to get parts to work on and maintain our vehicles. The only way to get parts will be by going to certified dealers and having the parts installed by some type of state or federal approved repair facility.
