That is assuming you have a 4WD townie chassis. If you're using a 4WD pickup chassis, won't you have top be sure you get the same wheelbase? If you had a 4WD townie, why would you swap the bodies?

I was going to do what Ken suggests with my '58 Suburban. That would have been easy, because the NAPCO 4WD kits were designed to be installed after-market. The only thing that would given it away as a conversion would be the bolted-in crossmember instead of rivited and the gross vehicle weight on the dtat plate. The NAPCO kit added 400 lbs to the gross vehicle weight.

That would have been a great truck. You can't have them all-where would you put them?
