Chad, I'm actually dwelling on the whole thing. I was considering modifying the coupling to work with the NV5600 seal but without sealing the spline of the coupling I fear oil would seep past the coupling & you'd slowly lose gear lube in the transmission. Might be best to either leave the seal out like you say or purposely fill the void in the T-case...at least drill a drain plug so I could monitor how much oil was making it past the coupling...know what I mean?
