After I had my 251 block hot tanked and bored, a 6" crack was discovered at the bottom of the water jacket on the drivers side (The block was so cruddy before the work was done I never noticed the crack.). After all the machine work was done I elected to try and fix it myself. So I stop drilled the ends of the crack and 'v'ed it out and applied JB. I've still got a long way to go before I can fire my engine though. My frame is stripped and painted, springs are sand blasted and painted, transfer case was cleaned new seals installed and painted, now I'm in the process of painting wheel rims so I can get the tires mounted and make room for the diffs (I'm doing this all in a 1 1/2 car garage.). So.....please post how the JB works. Thanks, Brett
