My temporary solution is going into it's second winter. I have the m151 heater under the glove compartment. I rotated the fan housing so the outlet is directed towards the passenger's feet. Needing heat on my side and a defroster, I stuck metal flexible 4 inch duct over the outlet, routed it over the hump, up the firewall and out the big hole in the dash. Then I point it where I need it. It retains the bend I put in it and blows plenty of hot air on the windshield when I need it. I still want a more permanent solution though, I'm looking for a diverter box to split air between the floor and whatever defroster setup I come up with.
