Well I finally got to see it!! While driving my daughter to school this morning we were all creeping along in our newest 6" of snow and this SUV (some kind of foreign baby SUV) shot by in the left lane playing "macho", and the light at the approaching intersection turned yellow. Being too far away to run it (as they usually do) he had to hit the brakes. Whipped into 360° cookies and ended up smack dab in the middle of the intersection facing us. Nothing was hit (no one was in the left turn lane or he'd have tagged 'em!), no one was hurt, he had to back around, get back on our side and drove off... slowly! Sure wished I could have seen the look on his face!! Damaged ego only!
During my training at the Federal Protective Driving course one of the first things they teach you for ramming or taking out other vehicles is that we're all sitting on "four dots of rubber". Some 4x4/SUV nuts really need to learn that!! Cheap lesson for that guy, I don't think he needed to wrap it around a tree or light pole to learn anything, but I hope he learned something this morning!
