....it gets me steamed that Jeep builds a lot of vehicles in Canada...ha!ha! And just for Paul, Mexico is a part of North America. What really gets me though is,...if American companied say that they can no longer compete by manufacturing here,...HOW can foriegn companies come here and manufacture at a profit??? American plants seem to work just fine for BMW, Mercedes, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi and Subaru, what's with that?? I wanted an American made lawn mower, I had to buy a Honda built in Maryland, I wanted an American made TV, I had to buy a Toshiba Black Stripe, built in Tulsa, OK. It seems to me that the only CEO's that care about American workers are from other countries who realize that if all American jobs are exported, there will be no consumers left here to buy their products.....American Made products are out there but you have to look for them, Polaris, Red Wing, Carhartt's, etc. come to mind. Don't just look at the brand name, look at the label. Most "American" brands are not being made by Americans*, but many "foriegn" brands are being made here.
*American, (for the sake of brevity encompasses all of North America Marty!)
