Unfortunately this is true of all business in North America & it's going to get much worse before we wise up.
As I said, most North Americans prefer price over quality...just go look in your neighborhood tool store. See how many American or Canadian made tools you can find.
Yes, they are built overseas in factories often run by North Americans but the products are crap & I'm afraid it's getting worse & worse.
Until people start taking an interest in quality over price, the economy here is doomed. Every Delta, every Black & Decker, every Craftsman...even Mopar for gods sake! It's sickening yet we still go into the dealer with big smiles on our face & brag to our friends about our great North American built trucks.
It makes me sick & honestly, that is why I haven't gone & bought a new 2003 Cummins to replace my 1993 Cummins. I have the money to buy one but I refuse to support the economies of other countries while my friends get laid off.
Something needs to change here my friends.
