Garth, do you add any #1 diesel to your tank in the winter? I have to get my #1 at Little America, about 65 miles East of here, but it's worth it to avoid gelling the diesel fuel. Most filling stations put additives in the fuel to prevent gelling, but when it hits -20 or colder, the hiways are bumper to bumper with frozen up semi's anyway. If my diesel won't start, I use WD-40 instead of ether. It's basically kerosene so it won't hurt the engine, but is a bit easier to fire in the engine. Ether will ruin a diesel very quickly.
