It was on it when I bought it and judging by the tempature the second owner needed it in that part of Missouri. Doesnt get cold in this part of TExas for long periods of time maybe in the teens windchill -25 and Ice once or twice a year but it feels very cold plug in the heater and the tempature guage shows a 100 fires up and no snow or ice sticks to tohe hood or the lower windshield fender edges the cab heater is ready to go have no idea what the brand is was orange in color and looks like something out of NAPA.
