When I was in the Army, and had to wear those OD green, ugly, with wool inserts, mittens I hated 'em!! Now that I'm in the civilian world and don't have to wear them, and don't have to ever have wool against my body again... those are the gloves I wear if I'm going to be outside for an extended amount of time. They are warm... just ugly. (I think all of Judd's mittens/gloves have that string connecting them. Carol put them in his so he doesn't loose them while out at recess.)
Like Bill Cosby used to say, "You can pull down on the one glove, and the kid will smack himself in the face with the other glove!!"
