Yeah we finally got some decent snow in Portland , Ore. not here in the valley but up on the west hills and coast range. My wife and I went up the Bald Peak state park Which Is about 1650 ft Elevation. They had about 7-10 inches of snow up there. First snow we've had in the 5 years since I bought the old truck.
I was puling my freinds truck out of the ditch when we heard a Kerchunk sound,kind of a metallic crunch. The whinch wouldn't wind back in. I had one of the guys get in the cab and engage the clutch and shift the winch into gear and could see the pto shaft turning but nothing happening. I haven't had a chance to crawl underneath and look at the shear pin on the yoke. Funny thing is you put in forward and wind the cable all the way out and leave it in forward to wind the cable back up. When are you coming to town?
