sometimes resale value is not the biggest concern. i went to hischool with a guy with a old 54 or so chevy pickup that had a 289 motor and his brother had an old ford with a 283. what happend is they were the best deals that could be had at the time and they needed running trucks.( they did not do it at the same time obvously)and that was the bigger concern then resale value. steve
