After looking at VPW book I think I know what I'm doing wrong, got the ends reversed.
Tried to put the bumper/spring and it should be scocket/scocket spring/bumper.
Kind of glad it wouldn't work that way and had help from everyone. Who knows what would of happen after driving it down the road.
