I've heard (but don't know for sure) that the 'normal' bellhousing pattern on the hemis was the same as the LA motors (and probably the Polys), but that the crankshaft 'stickout' was different. I don't know if the hemi crank or the LA crank was longer. Either a flexplate spacer, or a bellhousing spacer would be required. There are still companies selling these adapter kits. Rod&Custom had a big 'swap-info' issue that contained several suppliers. I'm sure Hot Heads would know how to do it also.
