I'm glad you asked. I ran a 727 pushbutton auto behind a 392 Hemi in my T bucket in 1967. I can't remember the name of the adapter plate company, although I do remember that the trans was a Hydromotive unit. I remember picking it up in Chicago on the south side. Transmission was set up for manual operation, no automatic shift up through the gears. Car was fast, weighed 2000 pounds, probably had 400 hp, ran 12.00 x 16 slicks on an Olds 4.10 rear end and could smoke the tires all day! Boy, I must have been nuts back then!
