I use a wood pellet stove. Its very effieicent, cheap and does a great job down to -30. I used to use a Clayton wood furnace that took up to 30" wood. It was so overkill I would have to open my front door during the winter.
We use pellet stoves in the Shop, Greenhouse and the house. Pellets come in 40# plastic bags.
