Flu is going pretty good in my area. Old lady is a nurse at the hospital. They wear masks when they go into flu rooms. My friend lives in OKlahoma City and works in a hospital there. He says entire familys are showing up to the hospital sick and they all get admitted.
Carry some wipes and a big deal of waterless antibacterial soap and wash his and your hands more.
Be a compulsive hand washer and you should be fine. Kids will be kids and theres always a risk. Touch a door handle and then rub your eye or pick your nose and you got it. Ever been to a hospital and see all the paper towns on the floor behind the door of the bathroom! Use the towel to open the door! This way you are sure you wont have every Tom's Dick and Harry's on your hand!
Take precautions and go. If he is gonna get it he's gonna get it.
Otherwise keep him locked in a closet and take Dana instead to sea world.
