They needed an extra axle that would match the width, stud pattern, brake sizes, and the like, plus they bought the basic vehicle from them so what's a few extra axles and wheels?
I repainted the VC 3 this summer (it seems soooo long ago...) but I never got round to detailing it. Today I bought paint masks for the USA numbers and I'll be trying to get that done over the next day or two. My garage is mostly brick and concrete, so I have to wait for the sun to come up and throw the doors open to let some heat in before I can do anything inside, even painting a few serial numbers.
