Amen to that George! I also do NOT like slushboxes. It is probably due to the fact,that all my trucks have been well used when I got em, but still. Personally, seeing I do most of my own automotive work, Id rather Spend $200. Every 100K miles for Clutch parts, then to pull one of these Newer Automatic OD trannies out, and pay the $2,000+ bill for the rebuild.
Man, I still really want a 89-93 W250 or W350 with Cummins, Stick, 205 case, Dana 60 Front, lockouts. It cant get much better than that!
